Evangelism Ministry

 

Purpose

The Evangelism Ministry is the primary evangelistic outreach arm of First Missionary Baptist Church. Its members are trained in sharing their faith in Jesus Christ as a way of life, door-to-door, over the telephone and by conducting Home Bible Studies. The members of the Evangelism Ministry believe that successful witnessing is simply taking the initiative to share Christ in Power of the Holy Spirit and leaving the results to God.

Service Opportunities

Those serving in the Evangelism Ministry will have the opportunity to discover and develop the following gifts, skills and fruits of the Spirit: evangelism, faith, prayer, teaching, service, compassion, communication skills, kindness and leadership (partial listing)

Qualifications

Availability, must complete the Concentrated Weekend Training and  Church Bible Institute Courses which are offered each semester. Once you complete the courses, you must commit yourself to 14 weeks in the Evangelism Ministry. All interested individuals can participate in the Evangelism Ministry as a prayer partner until training is completed.

Responsibilities

Sharing Christ with the unsaved.
