Prayer is the only means of direct communication we have with the Father, and without prayer we have no way of knowing His will for us and making our requests known to Him. If there is anything where in we must be consistent and persistent, it is prayer. We want every ministry team to take leadership in praying each Sunday for a month. The apostle Paul reminded the Ephesians at the close of his letter, “be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might” (Ephesians 6:10), and the only way this can be accomplished is through persistent and consistent prayer.
